AN ACT CONVERTING THE MAYOR HILARION A. RAMIRO, SR. GENERAL HOSPITAL IN OZAMIS CITY, MISAMIS OCCIDENTAL, INTO A REGIONAL TRAINING AND TEACHING HOSPITAL TO BE KNOWN AS THE MAYOR HILARION A. RAMIRO, SR. REGIONAL TRAINING AND TEACHING HOSPITAL, AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR



Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines iii Congress assembled:

SECTION 1. The Mayor Hilarion A. Ramiro, Sr. General Hospital located in Ozamis City, Misamis Occidental, which has a bed capacity of one hundred fifty (150) beds, is hereby converted into a regional training and teaching hospital, with all the requisite equipment, expanded bed capacity, modern facilities and personnel services necessarily added to regional training and teaching hospital. The hospital shall be known as the Mayor Hilarion A. Ramiro, Sr. Regional Training and Teaching Hospital.

SEC. 2. The Department of Health shall formulate the necessary guidelines for its operation as a regional hospital.

SEC. 3. The amount necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act shall be included in the General Appropriations Act of the year following its enactment into law and thereafter.

SEC. 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.

This Act which originated in the House of Representatives was finally passed by the House of Representatives and the Senate on July 27, 1994 and February 2, 1995, respectively.
