[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 10345, December 04, 2012 ]

AN ACT INCREASING THE BED CAPACITY OF THE QUIRINO MEMORIAL MEDICAL CENTER FROM THREE HUNDRED FIFTY (350) TO FIVE HUNDRED (500) BEDS, AMENDING FOR THE PURPOSE REPUBLIC ACT NO. 8313, APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES



Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Conress assembled:

SECTION 1. Section 2 of Republic Act No. 8313 is hereby amended to read as follows:

鈥淪EC. 2. The bed capacity of the Quirino Memorial Medical Center is hereby increased from three hundred fifty (350) to five hundred (500).鈥�

SEC. 2. Section 5 of the same Act is hereby amended to read as follows:

鈥淪EC. 5. The Secretary of Health shall immediately include in the Department鈥檚 programs the implementation of this Act, the funding of which shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.鈥�

SEC. 3. Section 6 of the same Act is hereby amended to read as follows:

鈥淪EC. 6. This Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in any newspaper of general circulation.鈥�
