Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:SECTION 1. The existing Macarascas Barangay High School situated in Barangay Macarascas, City of Puerto Princesa, Province of Palawan, is hereby converted into a national high school to be known as the Macarascas National High School.
SEC. 2. The Department of Education, Culture and Sports shall issue the necessary rules and regulations to carry out the purpose of this Act.
SEC. 3. All personnel, records, assets and liabilities of the Macarascas Barangay High School are hereby transferred to and absorbed by the Macarascas National High School.
SEC. 4. The amount necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act shall be included in the General Appropriations Act of the year following its enactment into law and thereafter.
SEC. 5. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
