[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 12131, March 14, 2025 ]
AN ACT UPGRADING THE DISTRICT OFFICE OF THE LAND TRANSPORTATION OFFICE IN CANDON CITY, PROVINCE OF ILOCOS SUR, INTO A CLASS "B" DISTRICT OFFICE AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
SECTION 1. The district office of the Land Transportation Office (LTO) in Candon City, Province of Ilocos Sur, is hereby upgraded into a Class "B" district office.
SEC. 2. The Secretary of the Department of Transportation shall immediately include in the Department's program the upgrading into a Class "B" district office of the LTO District Office in Candon City, Province of Ilocos Sur, the initial funding of which shall be charged the current year's appropriation of the existing LTO District Office in Candon City. Thereafter, the funding of which shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Acts.
SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect after fifteen (15) days following the completion of its publication in the Official Gazette or in a newspaper of general circulation.
