[ Act No. 1927, May 20, 1909 ]

AN ACT MAKING AN ADDITION TO SECTION ONE OF ACT NUMBERED EIGHTEEN HUNDRED AND THIRTY-NINE, PROVIDING THAT THE THIRD MEMBERS OF PROVINCIAL BOARDS, CREATED BY ACT NUMBERED FIFTEEN HUNDRED AND FORTY-FIVE, SHALL BE REIMBURSED THEIR ACTUAL AND NECESSARY TRAVELING EXPENSES WHEN ATTENDING THE SESSIONS OF THE PROVINCIAL BOARD, IF SUCH MEMBERS RESIDE AT A PLACE OTHER THAN THE SEAT OF THE PROVINCIAL GOVERNMENT.

By authority of the United States, be it enacted hy the Philippine Legislature, that:

SECTION 1. The following proviso is hereby added to section one of Act Numbered Eighteen hundred and thirty-nine, at the end thereof:
"Provided, further, That the third members of provincial boards created by Act Numbered Fifteen hundred and forty-five, as amended, shall be entitled to receive from the respective provincial treasuries the reimbursement of their actual and necessary traveling expenses, from their place of residence to the place where the provincial board holds its sessions, when going to the said sessions :ind returning from the same."
SEC. 2. This Act shall take effect on its passage.
