Be it enacted by the National Assembly of the Philippines:

SECTION 1. The President of the Philippines is author颅ized and empowered to enter on behalf of the Common颅wealth of the Philippines into any agreement or agree颅ments with the Atlantic, Gulf & Pacific Company, a cor颅poration duly organized and doing business under the laws of the Philippines, as may be necessary to supplement and amend the original agreement entered into pursuant to Act Numbered Three thousand and fifty-six, in order to make the work therein contemplated conform to the changes recom颅mended by the Director of Public Works and approved by the Secretary of Public Works and Communications, un颅der such terms and conditions as may be agreed upon by both parties; and upon completion of the work to execute for the Government of the Commonwealth, as successor of the Government of the Philippine Islands, all documents and deeds called for by said Act Numbered Three thousand and fifty-six which under said Act would be executed by the Governor-General of the Philippine Islands.

SEC. 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
