WHEREAS, Proclamation No. 776 (S. 1991) declares every Friday immediately preceding the third Sunday of the month of September of every year as special day in the City of Naga, in commemoration of the Feast of Our Lady of Pe帽afrancia;

WHEREAS, the date of the Pe帽afrancia Festival was moved to the Sunday following the octave of the Feast of Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary; and,

WHEREAS, the Office of the Mayor requested that every Friday immediately preceding the Pe帽afrancia Festival be declared as a special day in the City of Naga, to strengthen the cultural and religious values of Nague帽os.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, BENIGNO S. AQUINO III, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby amend Proclamation 776 (s. 1991) by declaring every Friday immediately preceding the feast of Our Lady of Pe帽afrancia as a special day in the City of Naga.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
